The first resort on Long Bay Beach: suites, Estate Villas, four pools and the kite beach on the doorstep

From The Shore Club Turks and Caicos
The Shore Club Turks and Caicos was the first resort on Long Bay Beach, on the quieter south-east shore of Providenciales, 2.5 miles from Grace Bay and about 15 minutes from the airport. It celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2026 by joining The Leading Hotels of the World.
Designed by RAD Architecture, the resort's five buildings sit behind lush gardens and 820 feet of beachfront. There are junior suites, one, two and three-bedroom suites and penthouses, and six Estate Villas of 8,800 square feet directly on the shore, each with its own heated pool with whirlpool. Four pools include an adults-only pool, a family pool, a lagoon-style pool with a swim-up bar and a lap pool.
Dinner is at SUI-REN, Japanese cuisine with a Peruvian flair, or Almond Tree, creative comfort food in a courtyard around a living almond tree. Lunch is by the pool at Colonnade or Sea Grapes, and The Rope Bar, the Courtyard Bar and the Breeze Bar look after drinks. The Dune Spa's treatment bungalows sit in the dunes, and the Jungle Jam kids club runs supervised activities and beach games.
Long Bay is shallow and waveless, and the trade winds make it one of the best kiteboarding beaches in the Caribbean: the kite schools launch beside the resort, and the concierge can set up a lesson. Non-motorised watersports and bikes are free.

Kiteboarding on Long Bay
Long Bay is one of the world's best kitesurfing beaches: the trade wind blows onshore across shallow, sandy water, so beginners learn standing up. The kite schools launch on the beach next to The Shore Club, and the resort's concierge can set up a lesson.
- Wind about ten months of the year, November to August, the strongest in summer
- Steady trade winds of 14 to 22 knots, by the resort's own guide
- Lessons in waist-deep water on a sandy bottom
- A first lesson usually lasts three hours; most people need 9 to 12 hours over three to five days

Yes. The Long Bay kite schools launch on the beach beside the resort, and the concierge is happy to set up a lesson. The resort's own guide says the wind blows about ten months of the year, from November to August, at 14 to 22 knots, and lessons are taught in waist-deep water. The Kite & Wake Atlas compares every school and its prices.
What rooms are there?

How many pools are there?
Four: an adults-only pool, a family pool, a lagoon-style pool with a swim-up bar, and a lap pool. The Colonnade Pool has cabanas, a fire pit and the swings that made it the most Instagrammed spot at the resort.

Is The Shore Club good for families?
Yes. The Jungle Jam kids club runs supervised activities and beach games, there is a family pool, Sea Grapes is the family restaurant, and the beach is shallow and calm.
